What is the concept of the Portland Beer Hub?
We are Portland Maine’s only dually licensed beer bar. This means, you can come into the Hub to enjoy craft beverages from all over the state of Maine (and sometimes elsewhere) and then also sort through our curated selection of products to take home.
Can my children come into the Hub?
While we welcome all ages into the Hub, anyone under the age of 21 must be constantly under the supervision of someone 21+. Minors are unable to handle any alcoholic beverages on either side of our establishment.
Can my pets come into the Hub?
We are only licensed to allow service animals inside due to health codes. During the summer seasons, we have minimal outdoor seating, and we welcome well-behaved, leashed animals!
What’s with the eggs?
Since we’re serving you alcohol, we also want to offer you sustenance! Free hard-boiled eggs are always available at the Hub and, yes… people eat them all the time!
Can I purchase kegs from you?
Yes! Email us at [email protected] and let us know what beer you want, the size of keg, and the date you need it for. We will try our best to accommodate. We do not have tap rentals at this time.
Can I buy single cans from your store?
We encourage it! Don’t feel obligated to buy a 4 or 12 pack of something before you know if you like it. You can break anything down to the single unit in our store. If you’d like help choosing, our bartenders would be happy to offer you some suggestions. We’ll even create a mixed 4-pack for you if you’d prefer.
Can I rent the Hub for an event?
Absolutely. We are licensed to host up to 30 people in our space.
What beers and other items do you have?
We try to keep our Untappd menu up to date for beers available at the bar and beers available in the store. If you don’t see something you’re looking for, feel free to give us a call to double check if we have any in stock or coming soon.
