A new food cart, Pangaea Street Food, has popped up in Post Office Park.
New cart Pangaea Street Food made it’s debut on July 1st, and has been serving up various international street dishes since. Each day, this cart’s menu features one unique dish. Owner of the cart, Tim, said that he didn’t want to have a static menu, cooking the same things each day. He wanted to be a place that people could come to grab lunch every day, and be able to constantly try something new.
This isn’t Tim’s first food venture in Portland. He previously owned another food cart, as well as Tim’s Japanese Steakhouse which was situated on Exchange Street, back in the 90’s.
Here, we tried his “Oyakodon” dish which consisted of chicken, eggs & onions over rice.
You can find Pangaea Street Food in Post Office Park Monday-Friday, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
