For the uninitiated, the Italian street festival is an annual fundraising and community event for St. Peter’s Church and celebrates the Feasts of the Assumption and St. Rocco. But for a lot of us, it comes down to fun with friends and family and delicious pizza, cookies and of course, cannoli. The Bazaar tarts at 5 p.m. on Saturday and again at 2 p.m. on Sunday. 72 Federal Street, Portland. Free, pay as you go for food.
Sunday, August 16: It’s time for movie night again at Congress Square Park!
