There is a TGIF Oyster Pop-Up at Hardshore Distillery from 4:30-7:30! This event is hosted by Maine Oyster Company and will involve gin martinis, freshly shucked oysters, and a meet and greet with actual oyster growers!
Get ready because from 5pm-close Mast Landing Brewing Company will be holding a Tap Takeover at Tomaso’s Canteen! Snag a Pantless Thunder Goose or a Little Choppy and party!
All aboard the Hogwarts Express! It’s Witchcraft and Wizardry Night at the Portland Seadogs Ballpark from 7-10pm. Bring a new pair of socks to donate and you’ll get a buy-one-get-one deal on General Admission tickets. If you wear your robes you can be in the 6pm pregame parade around the track and the best dressed will throw the first pitch! Butterbeer will be available and you could win Harry Potter merchandise throughout the game by answering trivia questions!
Saturday
Get ready for the 17th Annual Greater Portland Festival of Nations (FON). This is the oldest diversity festival in northern New England and it features food and music from around the world! It runs from 11am-8pm, has free admission, and is family oriented.
Port City Music Hall will be hosting Juice and Stephen Day at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $15 beforehand and $18 the day of. This is an 18+ event. Get ready to rock!
Adulting, Pregame Rituals (MA), No Good, Uncle Spudd will be at Geno’s Rock Club. This event will feature a mix of emo, pop, punk, and indie. The show runs from 8:30pm-12:30am, tickets are $8, and this is a 21+ event so don’t forget your ID!
Sunday
Grab your bikes and your kids because it’s the Portland Kids Duathlon from 8am-11am! This event is hosted by Benchmark Real Estate and is an opportunity for 5-12 year olds to participate in a run-bike-run format duathlon. There will also be a free balance bike race for 3-5 year olds after the older kids race. This race benefits the Foundation for Portland Public Schools.
From 12-5pm West Bayside is having its first annual block party! This event is hosted by Fork Food Lab and features food, music, and a Kid Zone at The Public Works.
Katlin Mcfee will be at Empire Live Music & Events from 8-10:30pm. This show also features Sam Ike and will be hosted by Kieth Hebert. There is a $5 cover charge and the doors open at 8pm. This is a 21+ event so make sure to bring your ID!
