Friday
The Annual Italian Bazaar will be in full swing from 5-9pm at St. Peter’s Church! This event boasts delicious food, pastries, games, and live music! This event is all weekend long so if you miss it Friday no worries!
Langhorne Slim And The Lost At Last Band w/ Twain will be at Port City Music Hall at 8pm. Tickets are $20 and GA preferred seating is $35. This is an 18+ event.
Empire and Rad Plaid present BRAINCHILD: Hambone + Lettuce an event dedicated to combining covers and originals into one night of amazing music! There is a $10 cover and this is a 21+ event! Doors open at 9pm!
Saturday
The Craft Brew Races have found their way back to Portland! From 12-3:30pm there will be a relaxed 5k around Black Cove and a beer festival with 40+ local and regional breweries in the gorgeous Payson Park. Tickets specific to the beer festival only and designated drivers are available. This is a 21+ event only so bring your ID!
It’s Star Wars Night at the Portland Sea Dogs field and this is not a trap! From 6-9pm Star Wars characters will be at the ballpark and these are definitely the droids you are looking for! The players will also be wearing special Millennium Falcon jerseys that will later be autographed and auctioned off to benefit Make-A-Wish Maine!
Make ME Laugh is at Empire again at 8:30pm! This is a live comedy game show in which Maine comedians are tasked with competing with audience volunteers to see who can make the other laugh first. Snag some tickets and try your hand at stand up! This is a 21+ event.
Sunday
The Portland Sea Dogs field will open at 10am so that fans can Play Catch on the Field before the 1pm game against the Akron Rubber Ducks! Baseballs will be provided for the first 500 fans!
The Portland Museum of Art is showing the film Exhibition on Screen: Young Picasso at 11am. This film focuses on Picasso’s early years through the lense of specific paintings and examines his Blue Period and Rose Period.
Stand up comedian Whitney Chitwood will be at Empire this Sunday! Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $7 and this is a 21+ event so bring your ID!
