[Portland, Maine, August 3, 2022—] Winners have been announced for the Portland, Maine Best of 2022 Awards presented by Bangor Savings Bank!
The “Best of” Awards kicked off on June 17th, collecting over 36,000 nominations over two weeks. Voting took place through the entire month of July, collecting over 230,000 votes from more than 13,000 people, making this the biggest year in the history of Portland Old Port’s “Best of” Awards.
Winners were announced at a special event at Portland House of Music & Events on Tuesday August 2, 2022, hosted by long-standing WCYY radio host, Joe “Joey Disco” Dionne, featuring door prizes and food from local vendors OTTO, Eighty 8 Donuts, and The Portland Board.
Local artists, restaurateurs, industry professionals and more filled the venue to celebrate everything that makes Portland great as the top 20 categories were announced, with awards available for the winners of all 138 categories.
