With a career spanning more than forty years, two-time GRAMMY nominee, Rock & Rock Hall of Fame Inductee, and sonic innovator, Tim Reynolds is lauded as one of the most dynamic and unrivaled instrumentalists in recent history. Best known for his seemingly effortless guitar virtuosity, masterful command of melody and timing, and uncanny improvisational prowess, Reynolds’ unequivocal contributions to American jam-rock outfit Dave Matthews Band and bevy of namesake ventures continue to garner worldwide acclaim. Among his most enduring projects is TR3 featuring Tim Reynolds, an ever-evolving sonic experiment Reynolds started in the mid-1980s and was joined by first-rate players Dan Martier and Mick Vaughn in 2007. Bearly Dead played their first show at Church of Boston, in 2015, marking the beginning of its hallowed Wednesday Night Residency. Over the next 5 years the phrase “Never Miss A Wednesday Show” became ubiquitous around Boston and Bearly Dead was nominated multiple times for Boston Music Awards Live Music Residency of the Year. Fans really never knew what might happen, the band never knew what might happen! Bearly Dead shows have featured notable appearances by Mike Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), Paul Wolstencroft (Slightly Stoopid), Steve Molitz (Particle/Phil Lesh & Friends), Kebbi Williams (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Rob Compa (Dopapod), Hayley Jane (Hayley Jane & The Primates), Richard James (Neighbor), and Johnny Trama (Dub Apocalypse) — and even a surprise appearance by Jerry Garcia’s “Wolf” guitar in 2018 on Jerry Garcia’s birthday!
In 2020, Bearly Dead began performing at other prestigious Massachusetts venues, including headline shows at Paradise Rock Club, Sinclair, Worcester Palladium, MGM Music Hall Fenway, and House of Blues Boston. After becoming a staple in the Northeast US festival community with multiple appearances at Camp Creek, Jerry Jam, Strangecreek, Wormtown, and many more, it was only a matter of time before Bearly Dead shows were being requested in all corners of the country. In October 2022, the band saddled up a new van and began touring nationally, performing their interpretation of the catalog across the United States and growing the Bearly Dead Family all along the way.

“A Band Of Brothers” isn’t just an Allman Brothers tribute band; they’re a powerhouse, uniting the top-tier talent of the East Coast. The brainchild of ace Boston guitarists Ryan Taylor and Johnny Trama, this collective, more than a mere homage, harness the Allman Brothers tradition as a vehicle to bring a unique and exciting experience every night.
Matt Zeiner began his professional music career touring with Matt “Guitar” Murphy, who exposed him to a fusion of blues and jazz. His career took a significant turn in 2000 when Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band recruited him as a keyboardist and vocalist, leading to a fruitful collaboration and tour. Zeiner’s own songwriting flourished during this time, contributing notably to the band’s repertoire. After four years touring, he returned home, focused on original material, and formed his own band. They achieved recognition with their 2007 release, “Live on a Summer Night,” and continued to evolve through collaborations with artists like Melvin Sparks and Jeff Pevar. Zeiner’s band has since been working on an ambitious new album, showcasing his ability to craft infectious melodies with tight, dynamic arrangements across a range of soul, R&B, and rock genres. Johnny Trama on guitar conjures up riffs and rhythms that speak volumes. His journey through the realms of rock, soul, and blues, playing with icons like Bettye LaVette and Jesse Dee, has armed him with a mystical musical prowess. Jesse Williams on bass has played with everyone from Duke Robillard, Louis Walker to North Mississippi Allstars. Tom Arey behind the drums has played with artists like Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers. Brendan Tommaney on percussion has played with groups like Pink Talking Fish, Tommaney and brings a jazz-infused sensibility that adds depth and dimension to the band’s sound.
