Frenzie is a dynamic funk/rock 3-pc hailing from Southern Maine. The idea for the trio had been premeditated long before their actual formation in 2018. Guitarist, Tom Menzie had played with Joe Harding (bass) and Colin Kolmar (drums) in separate bands and decided to get the two together. The result was 3 part harmonies, a powerful and technical rhythm section, and soulful guitar and vocal leads. In a live setting, they weave in and out of structure and improvisation, attuned to each other’s instruments. You might even witness a “Grundle Pump”, a signature dance move their fans or “Frenz” like to bust out. They have 3 singles “Plunder”, “Sober Rock”, and “I Found You” along with 4-song “Return to the Sea EP” available on streaming platforms.
Quaint AF formed in 2019 in Scarborough, Maine as a fun-loving, no-rules alt rock band. Nowadays, they practice in Buxton.
Over a few years of bar gigs and occasional tribute nights at bigger venues, they have found a voice in the post-pop-punk-ified emo scene.
‘Dope’ is the second single off their debut title, The Bold Coast. Lead single ‘The Difference’ and to-be-released ‘Divided States’ make up the rest of the EP.
