The weather is warming and outside summer markets are almost here! Our winter market ends in just a few weeks (on April 23rd) and then we move back outside!
We are kicking off the season on Wednesday, April 27th, in Deering Oaks Park and will remain in Deering Oaks on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Saturday May 14th. Then we will move to Payson Park from Wednesday May 18th through Wednesday June 15th. Then it’s back to Deering Oaks for the remainder of the season (until Thanksgiving). Whew! So many dates to remember, don’t worry we will remind you where to find us. All outside markets run from 7 am to 1 pm and are rain or shine events.
The temporary move is once again due to the Brown Tail Moth situation in Deering Oaks. Every effort is being made by the City of Portland, Maine to protect the trees and park in general.
