Announcing SOLIDARITY SUNDAYS!
The news has been bad. The threats and consequences of this administrations’ actions are very real and very dire — especially for the most vulnerable and marginalized in our country. But ultimately we get to decide how we respond. This is our community and we are in charge of what happens here.
Accordingly, first Sunday of every month we are partnering with a local nonprofit serving those in our community most impacted by the harmful policies of the new administration.
On Sunday, March 2nd we’re supporting @maineneeds with a kitchenware and socks & underwear drive. Bring a gently loved kitchen item (frying pan you never use? extra set of bowls or mugs?) and/or a *new* pack of socks or underwear and get $5 off your check. We’ll also be donating a portion of sales directly to Maine Needs.
