Maine House of Comedy at Free Street Restaurant and Bar presents The Fruit and The Flannel a one night standup comedy coheadliner event of Portland, Maine’s next generation of rising comedians.
Danny Jordan is a seasoned comedian originally from South Portland an avid member of Portland, Maine’s comedy scene for his entire career representing the LGBTQ+ community in how he relates to Maine’s changing but ever the same demographics and the relationships around him. He’s the producer of Deep Thoughts Comedy Show at Maine House of Comedy showcasing some of the best queer comics in the nation.
Josh Marquis is a newer comedian but with a growing following of his own as host of the Strictly Cheese Comedy Open Mic at Cheese Louise and also cohost of Field Notes Comedy Open Mic. The Kennebunk born comedian comes in with brash but humbled perspective of his Kennebunk upbringing and moving to Portland, working an array of jobs, and trying to speak honestly of male maturity.

Tom Shaw a New England comic that hails from central Maine. From Boston back to the sticks of Maine, Tom has been making audiences laugh with his peculiar take on life. Host of The Shaw Show Redemption Podcast and just performed his own headliner show Way Up High in Boston.
