North43Bistro, located on the water at Spring Point Marina in South Portland, offers an indoor and outdoor dining experience overlooking the water for lunch and dinner. With ever changing menus, two levels of decks for dining and cocktails, North 43 Bistro is a place where the locals call home to a steak or burger.
We offer private dining for sit down dinners, receptions, presentations and more with ample free parking and vendor services for all of your event needs. Port Harbor Marine provides free docking if arriving by boat.

Just had a belated Valentine's dinner here and it was exceptional. Service, cocktails, apps and entrees. Was only sad the evening was over so quickly! Looking forward to summer visits on the patio and enjoying the gorgeous view.

We had 2 experiences at this amazing restaurant in 1 weekend. First was a delicious lunch out on the deck on a sunny Thursday in October. Delightful mussels and a MOJO pork sandwich for him. Saturday was the wedding and it was perfect! From the food to the service to the fabulous weather, we could not have asked for anything more! It was exactly what our daughter envisioned, small, personnel and planned inside of 8 weeks! Stephanie was so accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. The food and drinks were enjoyed by all, but the oysters were particularly incredible straight from the Darmariscotta River. The location offered beautiful views, plenty of parking and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend for small gatherings and events. Thank you North43!

We sat on the patio overlooking the harbor and had a delightful lunch. Liam was our server, he was very nice and pleasant, checking back several times to see how things were or if we needed anything.Lunch was delicious! I had the blackened chicken sandwich with a side salad. The pineapple combined with the spicy pepper jack cheese provided just the right amount of hit and sweet combined. The salad vinaigrette was wonderful! My husband had the pork sandwich with spicy fries. He said the pork was very tender and the sauce was terrific! For dessert we shared the Black Forest cake, all I can say is it was fabulous!

I’ve known of this place for years but finally gave it a try for date night. All I have to say is wow. The atmosphere is intimate, the service is attentive and timely, and the food.. the food is incredible. The portions were wonderful. I had the New York Sirloin Steak with the mashed potato, green bean, bacon and cheese. Phenomenal. I was really impressed with this plate and I cannot wait to go back and try a new meal. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We brought seven kids into 43 N. at the last minute, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal. The service was impeccable, and the food was even better. What truly stood out was the owner coming out from the kitchen to be exceptionally kind to the children, in a way that very few gourmet restaurants ever do. This thoughtful gesture made our night. Highly recommend!
