Local, fresh, friendly! We love to find and support local restaurants when we travel, and this place was an AWESOME find! The owners/servers were super friendly, every single bite was delicious, and the seafood couldn't be fresher! Must try if you're in Portland!

Date night in Portland! I was given the option on choosing where to go. We love seafood and I wanted to try it a few months ago but we ended up going another place. The food was so good! I never use any sauce with any seafood, just lemon juice. The sauce that's served with every dish was incredible with everything!! I had gotten full so fast but kept eating and topped it off with churros! I did have to bring most of it home and the waitress was so nice and brought me containers for it and the chocolate!I'll be thinking of that sauce every time I eat seafood😅The jalepeno slices with the fried clams is something I've never experienced and it brought out such a nice flavor. Will be requesting jalepenos from now on!

If you’re traveling through Maine and looking for a break from the usual lobster rolls or deep-fried fisherman’s platters, Paella Seafood in Portland is your must-visit spot. Sure, they offer Maine and American dishes – after all, they’re in Maine – but do yourself a favor and order the Seafood Paella and Haddock Skewer. These dishes take the freshest local seafood and elevate it with bold, vibrant flavors that will make your taste buds dance!

Let’s start with the positive. The food is excellent. A bit odd in that I am not certain the origin. Paella is usually Spanish yet the food seemed to have more of a Mediterranean bent to it. The menu is not unified and goes from paella, to onion rings, to spaghetti, to lobster rolls, to ceviche - eclectic for sure. Our server tried her best with the service but, you could tell she did not have much experience. And the interior could certainly use a refresh.

After passing this place multiple times on Vacation we finally decided to stop by! So happy we did as this place is a hidden gem. I started with a delicious appetizer and was informed it's a family recipe made in house. The seafood platter was gone before I could even take a photo, and not to mention easily the best tiramisu I've ever had. The sweet lady who served us was very accommodating as well, definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great food!!

Unbelievable food! The calamari and the seafood paella were incredible, and the service was fast and the servers were lovely. It’s currently BYOB, so bring a lovely wine to accompany your meal (they'll have the glasses). The space is large and can accommodate big groups, but the style of the place could be improved (the food speaks for itself, however). We’ll definitely go again. The photo makes the paella look small- but the shrimp and mussels were huge!! Two people split it, with two appetizers.

The service was excellent. Helpful recommendations. The food was delicious. We had the scallop kabob and the chicken paella. I loved. Two of the dipping sauces. Definitely check out this wonderful restaurant; great parking, delicious food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. They are open every day from 11am to 8pm and there are salads, broiled fish and chicken, fried seafood, sandwiches, and a children’s menu.

Very nice, large open area with plenty of seating accommodating large groups.I liked the paella, my wife loved the salmon bruschetta & the onion rings were lightly breaded with a nice hint of spice.Yes we would come back & try other items.

What a truly lovely spot, with amazing service and food. My husband and I visited here on the anniversary of my grandpa’s passing to commemorate him — he always made the best paella when I was growing up! I really think he would have loved this restaurant. The paella was incredible, so flavorful and a good bit of crispy rice at the bottom of the pan. Fresh, tasty seafood, and a side of special house-made garlic sauce that paired beautifully with the paella. The owner was so kind and attentive; really great service and I left feeling like my heart had been filled as well as my stomach. We will definitely be back for more!

The paella is so good here and I am a self proclaimed paella connoisseur! And even better, it’s reasonable priced! The staff was slow on a Friday night because they got randomly busy and the server said “it never is” which shouldn’t be the case. This place deserves to be busy! Food is so flavorful, please keep this place busy so it stays open!!!

Must to visit place. The food was absolutely delicious, worth it every penny. Highly recommend to visit this place. The lobster roll was so so good that I forgot to take a picture, one of the best in Portland,Maine. We ordered Mediterranean octopus salad, clam chowder, seafood Paella and lobster roll and everything was so delicious that I wanted to personally thank the chef. The owner of the restaurant is a chef himself and it was nice to receive a complimentary dessert from him and his wife. The wife is such a good person with hospitality and kindness. This is a family business husband and wife and you can feel the soul in every dish. Each dish contains a whisper of love and passion.

A must-go-to place if you're visiting Portland! Very good paella and chicken cone waffles! The chicken and waffles served on a cone (chef’s handmade) is the smartest idea because you don’t get sticky eating with your hands! The chicken is infused with special maple sauce, crunchy for sure! The chef is committed to good food and nice hospitality!

Wow! I truly was not prepared for the wonderful flavors and textures that my wife and I experienced. The Mediterranean octopus salad with its well seasoned crispy outer layer of the octopus giving way to tender inside was complimented by the vinaigrette in the mixed greens. Thank you so much for having us.

Wow are we glad we stopped into Paella Seafood! We ordered two Seafood Paella (I added Chicken to mine) and a Beet & Goat cheese salad. We ordered our food as take-out and we were very pleased with the short wait (less than 15 minutes!). The food was delicious - well seasoned & absolutely loaded with shrimp, muscles & calamari. The portions were large and well presented despite being in a takeout container.Good luck with the new location, we will definitely be back!
