Food: Everything was good! The 2oz lobster rolls were smaller than I thought (that's on me) but very good. Bun toasted well and contrasted with cold lobster meat. Got the lobster ghee, lime mayo, and charred pineapple mayo and all were a hit. Definitely recommend getting sauces on the roll rather than on side. Fries were a favorite actually, crispy and well seasoned. Lobster bisque is rich and flavorful, and lobster meat in it fairly generously portioned.Service: can't complain, seated quickly though it was busy! Mobile ordering was simple. Staff friendly.Atmosphere: can be a little loud in front dining room but back area is more private and quiet. Fun aesthetic too.

The best lobster rolls we had during our stay in Maine! We also tried the lobster taco, lobster on a stick, and fish/chips, everything was excellent. We did have a significant wait but it was worth it. Beware you don't have a server, you must order on your phone or at the counter, so you are prompted to tip before getting any food.

I had an incredible meal at Highroller Lobster Co., and both dishes I tried were outstanding! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was a perfect 5/5. The homemade cheese roux was rich and creamy, and they didn’t skimp on the lobster claws, which added so much flavor. It was indulgent and satisfying in every bite. I also had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, which was equally deserving of 5/5. The sandwich had generous portions of fresh lobster, and the buttery, crispy bread made it all the better. I would highly recommend either of these dishes if you’re craving lobster done right!

Be prepared for a wait. But, do the wait. It is worth it.Party of 4, we shared our dishes. The bisque was a huge hit. Don't miss it.The lobster grilled cheese was a winner for one of our group. Note, it is very filling, so you might want to spit it.I enjoyed a flight of Lobster Rolls. The jalepeno Mayo on warmed lobster was great, but my least favorite. The garlic Mayo on warmed lobster was #2. And for the best flavor, I chose the melted butter on warmed lobster. Finally, we had a basket of fries for the group, but they weren't mentionable. I'd skip them next time.I knocked the service to a 4 because you have to do the ordering, and the servers only deliver your food. And, of course, the machine asks for a tip before your service enev happens.

Lively, with high energy music and waitstaff. Excellent lobster. The Lobby Bar is unique and if you love corn dogs, this is sure to be a treat! Old Bay seasoning on the fries. I love the 2oz lobster roll option. Perfect size for me. Yummm...

Wanted to get a lobster roll because why not when you are in Portland Maine. This place did not disappoint. I tried the three roll flight, which I would highly recommend if you want some variety. The guy at the counter was very helpful in guiding me with the selection of sauces and local beers. My wife had the lobster cheese burger which she thought was ok. I would definition go again but stick with the lobster roll. However I was intrigued by the lobster served like a corn dog.

This place was awesome. Great food, great vibe, with a staff that was pleasant. Despite their popularity they managed the demand easily getting us our food quickly and correctly. All items were fresh and delicious. Our group of 8 ate well. I recommend the Lobster Roll sliders and any of their fresh oysters. Wash it down with a Moxie beverage. Lobster corn dog was a novelty worth trying but doesn't come close to being as tasty as the Lobster rolls. Unless you are just looking to say you tried one, I would defer the expense and spend it elsewhere on the menu. If you get tonthe restaurant and their is a 30+ minute wait, don't be discouraged, check in with cell number then go explore the nearby shops and you'll be at your table before you know it.

Not enough words to compliment the place. Cool decor, delicious food, cute merch, definitely worth a visit when in Portland!Their lobsters taste fresh and well seasoned. These guys really know what they’re doing.Their prices were reasonable in my book. They are a bit busy tho so it would be helpful if you plan ahead.

We dined here for lunch while visiting. Delicious lobster rolls but a bit pricey. When traveling to New England you must eat lobster! This place was easy to find and just what we needed. A fast food atmosphere.Scanned menu to order, food served. Easy.No thrills.

The only thing I had here was their lobster bisque and I was not disappointed, at all! Had so many chunks of lobster and the flavor and consistency were great! I also asked for their most popular IPA and it was yummy. Our bartender was great and personable as well. Bathrooms were nice and clean too which for me is a big green flag for popular places.

I came here already loving lobster roll and this did not disappoint! It is exactly what you expect from Maine. This was my first crab roll and I am in love! 🤤 I honestly love crab more than lobster so this was perfection. Perfect crab texture, not too saucy, flaky and buttery brioche bun. Yes please!Stuff was super friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and well maintained. Also, bonus points for having awesome merch.

Must visit in Portland, this spot has a really cool vibe and ordering system. The lobster cheese crisp taco with lime mayo is truly amazing if you’re looking for something different than a traditional lobster roll. The mini lobster roll flight is a fun way to try different styles. I would skip the lobster corn dog as the breading just fell off. The stand out for me believe it or not was the chicken sandwich. Don’t second guess this and definitely try it. All the different in-house mayos complement it so well. The connected merch shop is a nice touch.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. It was crowded but not like crazy. Wait time was about 15-20 but we were anxious to eat. We ordered from the takeout side of the store. The staff are super friendly! Only issue is they didn’t remember our drinks or sauces but I went up and asked and they got it to us no problem! It’s definitely harder to eat when you’re sitting outside on a bench than at a table but it was all worth it. Definitely the best lobster roll I’ve had in Portland! A generous amount of lobster on a buttered bun. I added garlic mayo and it took it to another level! Definitely recommend!

I love this place!! The creative sauce combinations give lobster rolls a delicious new flavor profile. My favorite sauces are pineapple mayo, lime mayo, and garlic mayo. Every time I come to Portland this is the first restaurant I stop at. I love oysters and they have some of the freshest I’ve ever eaten. The vibe is chill and staff are very friendly as well.

After our morning hike, we stopped by this place for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The lobster was incredibly fresh, the sauce was exceptional, and the taco with a cheese and bacon shell was delicious. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with friendly service and excellent food.

Went for lunch. We had a hour wait. It was worth it! I had the cheese taco lobster. The Lobster was super soft and tasty. I think the server gave me the cheese bacon taco shell, though I ordered just cheese. It would explain why it had a burnt flavor that over powered the lobster. My hubby had the surf and turf lobster brisket burger (picture is without the top bun) After taking a bite of his, the brioche bun and flavor of the burger, lobster and red bell pepper mayo made me want to come back for dinner (I couldn't stop thinking about how flavorful the fresh brioche bread would compliment the lobster roll). It was truly the best lobster roll (buttery bread and tender lobster). I added the lobster ghee and didn't want to mess with my side of jalapeño mayo. It was too perfect without it. The potato salad was really good too! Two thumbs up for the lobster roll and surf and turf burger!

Highroller was so good! We got a $30 lobster roll that was packed with meat and and paired well with the clarified butter, but they have a bunch of topping options that sounded good. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, but we were able to wait in line, order items to go, and get our food in under 20 minutes. This spot definitely lived up to the hype.

Interesting diner concept with great lobster dishes. We had interesting things like Lobster Tacos and a flight of lobster rolls. The drinks are also good. Dont love the order from an app situation. Led us to think our food coming when it wasnt. Otherwise we will definitely come back.

Staff here are top tier. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Very good for families, it is busy and pretty packed but the staff helps you out and accommodates for things like strollers and so on.Food taste better when the staff is cool.Food - fresh, tasty, thoughtful. One in my party got the mandatory lobster trio rolls, 2 warm 1 cold. You can customize it however you want with any 3. I got the veggie dog, and loaded the hell out of it with almost every type of topping. Really awesome there is a good option for vegetarians that doesn't feel like an afterthought. Others got hot dogs, loved them. Also got mac and cheese and potato salad, also awesome. Good draft beer as well. The resto is using tech in a good way. Very well implemented mobile wait list system. Also ordering at the table on your phone and using google pay was very convenient. Food came out quick and fresh. This place is a gem in Portland.

Cool place. It has a bunch of extra lobster dishes. We tried our first ever lobster roll there and it was amazing. We loved the different options of sauces that you could pick from. The lime and the jalapeño mayo are a good combination. I can highly recommend! Beside lobster rolls, the also offer lobster tacos, lobster corn dog and a lot more. If you have questions, just asked the very helpful people that work there.

Killer lobster, but you already knew that. The lobster roll was a bit small but had great flavor, and the meat was nice and soft. The butternut squash bisque was overflowing with lobster chunks. The haddock was a nice portion with crunchy fried outside and soft flaky meat inside. My only gripes were the long wait time and how we weren't really tended to well. We had to ask for napkins at our table and then utensils after our food came out. I understand it gets busy in there, so it is what it is!Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would probably order ahead of time when I come back to Maine!

I was impressed with all the lobster rolls I've tried in Portland, including Highroller Lobster Company. The last couple times I visited Portland, Highroller was closed for the season. So needless to say I was excited to try it this time around.I will first say that this is one of the most unique menus I've come across in Portland. They have some really creative lobster dishes that I can't wait to come back and try.Service is exceptionally fast. This is more of a no frills/retro diner kind of atmosphere.Lobster rolls were exceptionally good and came with a substantial amount of meat. Each lobster roll comes with your choice of 2 sauces. I liked the garlic polish and the jalapeno mayo had just the right hint of spice. Watch out for the mango habanero, that sauce is spicy!Overall a pleasant experience at Highroller Lobster Company.

I was looking for the best lobster roll in Olive Portland, and consistently found this online. I came by and noticed that there was two entrances, one for takeout and one for dine in. Since I was eating alone today, I decided to go to the takeout window. There was a bit of a wait after I placed my order, but that’s understandable given its popularity on a weekend. I got the junior lobster roll, which honestly was very small, but did the trick for wanted to try a lobster while in Portland, Maine! Inside, memorabilia and logo items for sale. There is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. I took mine to go and went to a local park nearby to enjoy some live music while I eat. Check out my photos below.

The lobster roll with butter was fantastic! We also had the one with the pineapple sauce, it was great as well! The sweet potato fries are delicious 🤤 very expensive though! the service was quick, but I did ask for more sauce, and the guy never gave it to us, even as we were leaving he didn't apologize or anything. we had to ask someone else. you can order from the table with a QR code or go to the counter.

My family and I have been coming to Maine since I was a little girl and we consider ourselves lobster connoisseurs! We visited the Highroller Lobster company. How did we not know this was here! What a fantastic find. The food was amazing, we tried all the sauces on the lobster rolls, the fries were perfect and drinks were delicious with a great selection! The staff was fun and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!

I tried both the lobster corn dog, and lobster Mac n cheese. The lobster corn dog, on the menu called Fried Lobby Pop, was very enjoyable. The batter was fried to a golden color and was a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lobster grill cheese was very cheesy and the bread was toasted perfectly. The basket of fries was plentiful enough to share between 2-3 people and was seasoned a tad strong but I liked them. The server was very polite, charismatic, and informative. I was able to order from the table with a QR code.We were sat to our table quickly. We barely beat the lunch rush by a few minutes. This place is very popular. A line formed while we were eating. If you hear lobster corn dog and turn your nose up, this is not the restaurant for you. I loved it and would recommend anyone traveling to the area to give it a shot.

The whole experience was really good. Me and my friends wanted good seafood, we are glad that we found this place. We enjoyed the food, especially the lobster grilled cheese. I can still remember the taste of that sandwich, too good. My friends liked crab roll too, garlic mayo was out of the world. Not a big fan of oysters, but my friends liked it.

The Highroller Lobster Co. Lives Up to the Hype! This place is everything the internet raved about! Even though it was super busy, they got us seated quickly and the service stayed amazing the whole time. They definitely know how to cook lobster - everything I tried was fantastic. I now really fall in love with the foods in this restaurant. I like the vibe in the restaurant. It's usually busy and we waited for almost half an hour to get a seat. But it was totally worth it. You can easily order your foods from the QR code on the table. So convenient. Everything here is so delicious. We ordered lobster roll, fried sweet potatoes, lobster taco, oyster and naked lobby pop. I definitely recommend lobster roll which is super delicious. Staff are friendly. I had a great time with my friends here.

Today is the first day of my new life, I now love lobster. I feel like a criminal having never liked lobster, but I will blame that on my peeps who have never taken me to High Rollers before today. I braced myself as everyone said this would change my life….. they were right! Lobster roll, lobster roll, lobster roll… wait a minute they have a lobster taco🤤 Whatever you decide to get, make sure to order that pineapple sauce, it will give you an orgasm in your mouth. If you are not local, stuff as many of those fresh hoagie rolls in as you can.

The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by attentive and professional staff. We loved the fact that we could order and pay directly on the phone, what makes it so convenient. However, the culinary experience, particularly the lobster rolls and mac & cheese with bacon, although decent, didn’t quite meet expectations. Both dishes were well-presented but lacked the distinctive flavors needed to make them memorable. The fries were amazing. Despite this, the overall dining experience was positive, making it worth another visit to explore more of what their menu has to offer.

First time in Maine and ate dinner there last night. I had oysters, habbett cakes, lobster roll, and fries. Everything was fantastic. The jalapeno mayo on the roll, wow. The tarter sauce amazing. Best I've ever had! The staff was incredible. I really might have to go back to Maine just to take the rest of my family there. If you're in Portland and don't go you're truly missing out! Truly made me appreciate the town and food. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Huge selection of sauces, different sides, and a selections for everyone - seafood lovers or not. 🦞Lobster Rolls, Whoopie Pies, Mac 'n Cheese🦞My experience at Highroller was delicious! The interior resembles an old-fashioned diner, complete with vibrant red-and-white decorum. There are traditional booths and countertop, bar-style stools available. Service is timely and polite, and the food tastes great.Everything is served on brioche. The Lobster Rolls are palm-sized and served cold, with adorable toothpick flags sticking out the top. The mac and cheese is rich and creamy with large pasta and crumbs on top. And, to top it all off, don't forget to grab a homemade Whoopie Pie. These things are almost the size of my hand--big enough to split with someone and the perfect finish for your meal.If you want to grab a souvenir, the restaurant features a variety of themed memorabilia, including t-shirts, stickers, drinking vessels, and jewelry, which can be purchased at the checkout counter.

By far, one of the best lobster rolls on my food crawl of Portland.During my trip to Maine, I had about a dozen lobster rolls in all shapes, sizes, and styles. This one was for sure at the top. Although I opted for the baby 2oz roll, it packed a punch. The hot lobster was so flavorful and tender. The lobster ghee really brought out extra lobster flavor. I mean, lobster infused ghee is just an amazing idea, and this was the only place I found that had it. The bun was fresh and toasted perfectly.I can pretty much skip the other places next time I'm in Maine, I'll just come right here.

High roller was recommended to me by two family members in the Portland area and it did not disappoint. I got a Junior Roll with Ghee, bacon Mac. My partner got the burger. He doesn’t eat any seafood and As he put it “it’s amazing I can go to a seafood place and have amazing great quality meal there”. Mac was amazing. Lobster was delicious, tender, buttery. The vibe was awesome too - went while they were decorated for Christmas. The staff were cool.Iced tea wasn’t sweetened but a shot of simple syrup did the trick.

Went for dinner with my husband and it was excellent! We got the coconut lobster skewers, which were very tasty and not tough from being fried. I got the lobster roll warmed and it was stuffed full. Lobster was sweet and tender. My husband had the fish and chips. The fish was very good and the batter was nice and light. Sauces were great, especially for dipping fries in!

This was my first lobster roll ever, and I was absolutely NOT disappointed! We got there in time for their happy hour so of course I got a $5 Margarita which was great, and my food was delicious. Worth every penny. I usually don't really like fries but the Old Bay seasoning made the whole meal a 10/10. Service, atmosphere, and overall vibe were really nice too. If you (like me) only have a short bit of time in Portland, make sure to stop by Highroller! Also a side note, this place is right next to a parking garage so getting here was super easy.

I enjoyed every lobster roll but I think this is probably the best and fresh lobster roll I’ve ever had.Perfectly toasted brioche bun that has fresh shredded romaine lettuce and fresh claw & knuckle on top. This place lives up to the hype! From checking in to the gift shop… service all around was excellent. Got there around 1230pm on a Saturday and had to wait roughly 1 hour. Explored the nearby area, walked down to the water and came back to the table being ready.Sitting at the counter, the service was even better and super quick. Got the full size lobster roll with drawn butter - it comes chilled w/ warm butter. It - was - so - good. Perfectly buttered and perfect size. My only regret was not getting another one to-go (which btw they have a whole Togo section in the gift shop).

The lobster roll was the star here. So fresh and flavorful. A very saucy roll and the assortment of sauces available allow for customization to fit every flavor demand. The fish sandwich was the runner up. Pleasant crunch and came out hot and steamy. The flakiness of the fish was excellent and perfectly fried. The lobster pop was a unique way to eat the lobster. Definitely messes with your mind as you expect a firm sausage to be inside, but you get soft lobster meat cooked perfectly, and the cornbread batter was great. It was definitely worth a try, not sure if it’s for me though in this unique combination. The fries came out hot and crisp, just as they should be.The lime Mayo was a stunner of a sauce. Wish I could drink that by the gallon.

We had a lobster roll platter with three different rolls. What's great about this place is you get to pick what sauce you want on the roll. Variety is excellent. Very cool place with good lobster! We ordered the lobster roll (of course), surf and turf burger (delicious!), lobby pop fried (ok… prob better if it was naked), and kids Mac n cheese (a bit too rich). The atmosphere of the place is casual but it was a bit expensive for what we got. It was all great tasting though. Note that you have get up and order from the counter.

Loved the lobster rolls and the choice of sauces - adding the lobster butter was a total game changer.Only complaint that I have is that I wasn't a fan of the ordering system where you have to order on your phone. The hype is real for Highroller! Fantastic lobster rolls at very reasonable prices. The staff was incredibly genuine, helpful and kind. There is outdoor seating, but the indoor dining room has awesome vibes! Retro booths and high top tables are bathed in light from a disco ball. We 2 lobster rolls. One with lime Mayo and the other with garlic Mayo. I preferred the lime, but both rolls were really tasty with a solid amount of lobster. Staff was fast and friendly. My only wish is that fries or chips had been included. For how expensive the rolls are, and how cheap chips are, it would be nice if they had thrown them in.

Best lobster roll ive ever had. I came here in 2020 and finally got to go back and it was even better than I remembered. I think its the type of roll they use and their awesome selection of sauces. I had the charred pineapple mayo and it was so yummy. I also got the lobster pop. Really affordable prices for lobster. Really cool vibe. The place does need a deep cleaning, the bathrooms especially, but other than that i loved it.

I can see why this is one of the best lobster 🦞 roll places. The toasted butter roll is so great, I wish the lobster meat was hot like Eventide. If Eventide brown butter lobster and Highroller buns make a baby will make the best baby lobster roll in my opinion! I had the lemon sauce which was recommended by the host at the take-out counter. Definitely worth stopping by. The line can be long like many great places in Portland ME.

First time visitor from Texas. I ordered the lobster roll and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. One of the tastiest meals I have ever eaten. It’s not cheap at 28 bucks, but it’s 4 Oz of spectacular lobster. Truly a treat to yourself. I ordered three oysters as well, and they were awesome as well. Great service. Absolutely delicious but really expensive. Understandably so, I suppose for the quality. Loved the classic lobster roll. We asked to have it warmed up and it was perfect. We also had a lobster roll flight. Portions on both were very good. The sauces we chose were the standard butter, lime Mayo, and garlic Mayo. The lime Mayo was light and refreshing. Garlic Mayo was creamy and a bit heavier. Buttered was just ok. I liked the other sauces better. Would definitely go back to try the other kinds!

We went for a quick lunch during a road trip with friends.Service is kind and quick, you can order from the counter or from a QR code website, the latter was our choice, experience was painless. The food took a bit to arrive but was delicious, the Lobster Cheese Crisp Taco was our choice and it is amazing. Sauce selection is also very good with some well-executed twists on the classics. Portions are a bit small for the USA but appropriate. We didn't try the drinks.Price is high, but still in line with the kind of food they offer.

High roller lobster Co. In Portland was an amazing find. This place is extremely well known and serves up a variety of delicious bites. Known for their locally caught lobster, I promise you won't be disappointed. I came here recently and completely fell in love. Look for the red and white stripes with a mob of people out front, and you will know you are at the correct place. We needed seating for 4 and we didn't wait long. We were able to get a table in the back patio area. For a drink, I chose the classic margarita in a bucket. Tasty! We got the baker’s dozen of oysters for the table as an appetizer. 3 different types of oysters locally sourced in Maine. It also came with 2 mignonettes and your classic cocktail sauce. All were fantastic! I went with the lobster roll flight for my meal, and it did not disappoint. It came with 3 mini lobster rolls, and you choose your sauce. I went with the drawn butter, garlic mayo, and charred pineapple mayo. Literally SPEECHLESS! The rolls were savory, buttered, and grilled to a nice golden brown. Added to the rolls was just a touch of shredded lettuce, topped with lobster and your sauces of choice. My favorite was the drawn butter! The garlic mayo was also super flavorful and put a nice twist on your standard mayo. The charred pineapple added a sweetness and was also delish. I will definitely be back here to enjoy another lobster roll flight because I cannot stop thinking about it!

Get ready to stuff your face! Be prepared to "shell out" some bucks (pun intended). We had a hard time picking just one item off the menu. This was our third trip to HR so we decided to double down. We'll worth the price of admission. The lime mayo is (chef's kiss).. I got the cheese taco but the cheese was slightly soft so it didn't crunch as much as I hoped. Still would get it again though. If you're looking for raw oysters, the bar has some locally sourced offerings.

Great experience here! Lobster was fresh and the sauces are awesome, loved the lobster ghee and jalapeño mayo. Staff was super friendly, and I love their mobile ordering system. Service was excellent as well. The lobster rolls are quite pricey, at $45 for a trio of minis, but the quality of the food backs it up. Def give this place a try!

Everything about this place is awesome, even the music was on point. We had a lobster grilled cheese, sweet potato fries, will be pie and lobster roll. The jalapeño and pineapple mayo was incredible. One of the best lobster rolls I had in Maine, and will be returning the staff was very friendly.

During my week-long visit to Portland, I had the pleasure of discovering a hidden gem recommended for its exquisite lobster rolls. Highroller surpassed all expectations. Seated at the inviting bar, we indulged in expertly crafted cocktails while savoring a delightful lobster roll flight. The flight featured a tantalizing array of accompanying sauces, each adding its own touch of culinary brilliance. It was an unforgettable dining experience.

A must visit when we are in Portland. We came back to the city just for this! I love the raw oysters and the lobster rolls. Beers are good too!Come with plenty of time because there will be a wait. Well worth it.

The best meal I had in Portland and the competition is steep. The lobster roll was perfect & I highly recommend the lime mayo sauce. Additionally they have a fantastic beer list and the vibe of the place was fun. Service was great; you place your order through the QR code site, which I prefer.

Fresh oysters, right as you walk into the place. Outside seating both in front and put back on the patios.Live music was happening while we were there. The haddock sando was delicious, and the basket of fries had Ole bay seasoning. My friend got the lobster pop and oyster and both looked amazing.

I visited High Roller for the first time this week, though I've known of it (and its well-deserved popularity) for some time. The occasion was the Portland Wurst Week Ever hot dog crawl - a very fun event! I ordered oysters, which were outstanding with a clean shuck and fantastic flavor accomplished by a great pomegranate mignonette that paired perfectly with the oysters. Though they offered regular hot dogs for the event, I got their special hot dog with lobster. It was far better than it had any right to be. OMG but it was so good! I know, it sounds weird, but especially with the lobster ghee as the sauce, couldn't have been any better.I only have three stars for service, but that is only because it is more of a counter service situation rather than wait people taking orders. However, everyone was very nice and friendly and efficient.

Portland in general has amazing food, but Highroller has us wanting to come back to Portland asap! We LOVED the lobster grilled cheese and highroller burger. The lobster lolipop was just okay. The sauces though... don't skimp on the sauces. They are so flavorful and amazing.

The restaurant had a diner vibe to it but more trendy. My family and I ordered the lobster rolls Connecticut style with the old bay fries. Wow just wow. I loved the garlic mayo and the warmed lobster. The bread was crunchy and well buttered. We left with full bellies and smiles. We recommend this to any other tourists who are looking for a delicious lobster roll.

Excellent warm lobster roll and Old Bay fries!! Pricing was average based on the amount of lobster. The frose was a wonderful treat on a warm day; really felt like I was on vacation. The hostess at the front was very kind and good at managing multiple groups of people at the same time, even accommodating someone who had a dog which meant they needed to meet them around back.We sat outside which was really nice as the weather was beautiful. Inside had a cool vibe as well. Bathrooms were clean. I would definitely eat here again!

I was visiting from Utah and found this great place for Maine Lobster! The Lobster Mac and cheese was the greatest thing on earth! Seriously! The Lobster roll with mayo and lime sauce was hands down, one of the best things I have ever tasted! If I'm ever in the Portland area again, I will definitely be back! ?

FoodIf you ever want to find a good lobster roll, look no further. My friend recommended this place and said it is better than eventide. I absolutely agreed. The high roller lobster roll is way more flavourful, which is what we want for a lobster roll, otherwise it is boiled lobster with bread.Everything elseThe decor is like every other fast food chain with a spin. Service was great.

Best lobster I have ever had in my life! I was not sure about the place but I asked the 3 customers that came out. They told us it's the best ever and they drove 5 hours for this place we were convinced. We had a wait to get seated but once we sat down, the ordering process is easy. Scan the qr code, pay and the food comes out. This is the most delicious lobster I have ever had. I would recommend the larger 4oz and cooked warm instead of cold.

There is not a better place in Maine to get a lobster roll, if you're interested in unique or interesting flavor combinations. You can't go wrong. Everything they do is very high-quality, and it shows because the place is always very busy. I recommend trying as many of their sauces as you can, even if it's just on fries, and noting which ones are the best for next time. It's expensive, but average priced for lobster. Parking can be difficult, I recommend going north and east by a block or two to find the easiest spots.

The wait is worth it! The lobster rolls were delicious and they offer a flight so you can try more than one. They also have a great beer menu! Delicious food, fun environment and quick service as you place your order via the toast app, which they provide a bar code for your table.

This place is is hands down the best lobster roll in Portland Maine. The bun is toasted well, lobster is extra fresh, and the sauces are the best part. If you love butter you have to try their lobster ghee.I’ve been here multiple times and the staff has always been extremely nice and friendly. Every time I have visitors come visit bringing them to high roller is a must! Try it if your here, you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best places to visit in Portland. Delicious, fresh lobster rolls that come in a variety of sauces. The new surf and turf (burger with lobster) is amazing. Fries with the old bay seasoning is the perfect side. I don't know about the other dishes because if you're not eating lobster here, you're doing it wrong. The different sauces they have are all worth a try. My personal favorites are the garlic mayo, the jalapeno mayo, and the curry mayo.

The food is amazing!! This was BY FAR our favorite restaurant in Maine. We had the lobby Pop, lobster roll, Bloody Mary (so good!) and my husband had the oysters, which he said were the best ever. Our kids also loved their hamburger and chicken poppers. For dessert we had the whopper pies and they were incredible. The servers were fun and friendly and we couldn’t have enjoyed our experience more.

Amazing. The vibe is awesome, the service was friendly and helpful and food and drinks were top notch. You order via your phone or the bar yet you constantly feel helped by everyone. The lobster rolls were so tasty and full of delicate lobster meat and tasty sauces to try. We also tried the lobster on a stick which was fun and tasty. Drinks were equally as excellent. A must try in Portland!

Solid place to go when in Portland, Maine. There’s plenty of seating both in and outside with hardly any wait time. The style of the menu is straightforward so you know what you’re ordering, with pictures accompanying the mobile menu ordering site. The two ways of ordering makes for a fairly efficient system (either order and pay through phone or traditional order). The food comes out at a reasonable time and was hot (what’s more to love?). Service is great just keep in mind that it isn’t your typical sit and dine restaurant with an assigned waiter. I had no complaints and will be thinking about their lobby pop until I return.

If you’re looking for delicious lobster, this is it.Our first time in Maine and trying various rolls and lobster in itself, this was definitely a top choice. The meat was fresh and the sauces were great, especially the one with a hint of pineapple. In comparison to other places, the roll was my favorite. There is an option to order two different sizes. The lobster lobbypop is a light snack as it is a small amount of lobster meat for about $20. The prices aren’t definite as it’s sold for market value. The prices of crab meat may vary, depending on the market value. The vibe was good, and the food was great. The data made it harder out there to order via phone in the restaurant but it was a quick fix by going over to bar and ordering. Also, be ready to wait a bit before entering the restaurant as they take your number and text you when a seat is available. Will definitely be returning to this establishment when we visit again for their delicious lobster rolls and sauces!

If you are downtown and want an excellent little spot I would highly recommend the Highroller. I won't pretend to be a lobster roll expert but I absolutely loved their rolls. They have multiple sauce options which really added to the flavor. Ask for a couple on the side to find which one you like best. You won't be disappointed. They also have a large outdoor area which is well shaded and good for enjoying the fresh coastal air.

Opened promptly at 11AM and started doing a good business immediately! In addition to tables outdoors in front they have a patio out back. Best feature is that you can get a 2oz. lobster roll for $17 if you don't want to pay over $30 for a full one. QR code ordering from outside if you want or pay cash at counter. Great quality for a tourist spot!

Starting from the tastefully designed logo, everything about this place is different and unique. It has a very upbeat atmosphere and the lobster rolls are incredible. Their take on a menu is also much different, instead of text Highroller uses imagery. Compared to other places to get a lobster roll in Portland, this one is extremely good for the money. The store is also great, very unique merchandise and designs. Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic restaurant with a 70s appeal. I walked in and it feels just like johnny rockets. Everything is electronic. Order on the app and pay on the app. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. The lobster rolls were delicious. You must try it here! I say one of the best in town to be honest. Wish I got more food while I was there. Will definitely go back.

We made it just in time for happy hour. (4pm-6pm). Took advantage of the $2 oysters and the house margaritas. Also threw in some jello shots. Very tasty! The surf and turf high roller burger was beyond amazing. Definitely get the 8oz patty as it will balance out the amount of lobster it's topped with. I got lemon mayo, garlic mayo and lobster ghee. Definitely will hit this spot if I'm ever in Maine again.

Love the restaurant vibes, food and service. We got a lobster roll and one of their burgers with fries- both items were DELICIOUS. The lobster roll was cooked perfectly and meshed well with the bread, 10/10. The burger was also cooked well and tasted great. They also allowed a lot of customization on menu items and had a variety of sauces (another pro)I would give it a 4.7 if I were able to- overall GREAT experience and also great food! My only con is that a lobster roll was close to $40, which is quite pricey in my opinion. The food is worth it, more so if it's your first time trying a lobster roll!

Got here right at 11 when they opened because we had a 1pm flight. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Easy ordering and paying right on your phone. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious. Not as amazing as the one I had at Red's Eats with all that lobster meat years ago but extremely satisfying. Fries were excellent and the jalapeño mayo was fabulous. Super happy with my last meal in the area and I like the low key casual vibe. Highly recommend!

First time here and WOW! First off, the lobster roll is by far the best thing I’ve ever had! A must have if when visiting Maine! The bread was warm and toasted, the lobster was chilled to perfection and the garlic mayo really hit the spot! The bay fries & coleslaw was also delicious! I will absolutely be back!Service was great! Greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, easy ordering system and reasonable prices! A MUST TRY!

The High Roller Food truck was a huge hit at our wedding. Trevor was very organized and responsive during our planning process and helped us curate the perfect menu for our guests. The crew did a great job getting in and out of our venue and serving our wedding guests quickly. The food was very tasty, and many of our guests commented on how good everything was! We were able to taste test the food at their restaurant in Portland, which aided in our decision in hiring them. We highly recommend the High Roller food truck!

From when you first walk in this is the sort of atmosphere you want when you're dining in Portland. First time here and can say the staff were able to answer any and all questions with a smile and personality. The food was picture perfect and tasted even better! Great selection of beers and drinks that could have kept us up there all night. The one thing I'll address is that people seem to write negative reviews about the price. Yes it's not McDonalds and you aren't paying $5 for your lobster roll. This is some of the freshest lobster you will have in your life and that comes with a price tag. I certainly didn't think it was overpriced or even that expensive to be honest. You get what you pay for and what you get is some of the best dining in Portland!!!

Pricey, and there is always a wait... but it's a really cool "50s diner meets crab shack" vibe inside, and an equally eclectic menu. Lobster pops are good, as is really everything we tried.Wait-list for a table, as well as ordering and paying are all online so it's very efficient.I recommend making a stop here.

Wow this place is incredible! My wife and I stopped here on the recommendation of our hotel receptionists, we were not disappointed! We got the rum punch bucket which was delicious! I got the lobster roll which was awesome! My wife got the lobster burger which was also amazing. You have the ability to order and pay for your meal through their website. It's an interesting concept but very efficient, they just bring your food and drink right to you at your table. It's a bit expensive, but it is in a tourist town so you have to expect that. Overall very happy!

My 1st ever lobster roll! I've been eating lobster many years but never tried a lobster roll. As a foodie, I thought my 1st should be in Maine!! After trying a couple others in Portland ME...I say this is the BEST!! The buttery roll and variety of sauces (I mixed garlic mayo and melted butter) not to mention super fresh, huge chunks of lobster....all make this the best lobster roll ever???♥️♥️♥️
