THE HEADLINER

Get ready for a night of unending alt rock this Saturday, April 29th at the State Theatre. Indiana-based four piece Houndmouth headlines a night of great indie, alternative and folk rock that will last late into the night.
Houndmouth has been a big name on the scene since their 2013 debut album ‘From the Hills Below the City‘ landed them on late night shows and festivals across the country. Their fame only grew with their 2015 album, bringing the huge hit ‘Sedona,’ and more to the mainstream radio waves.
Houndmouth will be joined by indie band Chartreuse, alt-rockers Chandeliers, and indie-folk band Oliver Hazard for a night of amazing music you won’t want to miss.

LIVE & LOCAL

Portland nightclub Citrus reopened for the summer season this past 4/20, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back in and rage to some amazing EDM acts.
This Thursday, April 27th, get an early start to the weekend with local DJs Pete Vitello and Amrit. They’ll be spinning up their best house and techno tracks to keep you moving from 9PM until last call. Mark this one on your calendars to see some of Portland’s greatest do what they do best.

MID-WEEK MUSIC

It’s hard to nail down exactly what you’ll hear at Free Street this Wednesday, April 26th. With the genre-defying Tony & Gravel headlining as part of their ‘Not Dead Yet’ national tour, with support from locals Max Felker, The Keeper Class, and more, you can expect to hear some folk, old-timey Americana, punk and more throughout the night.
Tony & Gravel made waves in the last few months after their folk punk anthem “Vodka & Heroin” made waves on TikTok, with over 3 million plays on the original video. The duo have since signed with Punkerton Records and set out on their DIY tour across the country. For a night of eclectic genres and talent, this is going to be an awesome night for fans of Americana and folk rock.

STAFF PICK

If you’re looking to get your jam band fill, get yourself to Portland House of Music & Events this Friday, April 28th. Southern rock jammers Perpetual Groove will be making their way to Portland, and are ready to party with you!
This fun-loving four-piece shot up in popularity in 2015 when they returned, rather unexpectedly, from a two-year hiatus, and their fans (new and old) have been itching at every chance to celebrate music with them ever since.
Don’t miss your chance of experiencing this new chapter of Perpetual Groove as they come to Portland to do what they love.

There’s so much live music happening around the city at any given time that we’d never have the time to list them all here.
