LIVE & LOCAL
In 2009, Hello Newman founding member Derek Johnson set out with a vision: to create a band that would bring the 90s alternative rock hits he grew up with on WCYY and MTV to life. One Craigslist ad and a bit of cosmic luck later, four musicians joined forces, and Hello Newman was born—a powerhouse tribute to 90s rock. Known for their meticulous attention to detail, Hello Newman aims to recreate each song true to the original recordings, a dedication that has earned them a loyal fan base over the years.
