The First Friday Art Walk is here! Check out specials, shows, and programming all throughout the Arts District, the Old Port, and beyond from 5-8 pm.
Kick it at the I Love the 90’s Tour, featuring some of the most iconic acts of the 90’s– Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Montell Jordan, All-4-One, Tone Loc, and Young MC at Maine State Pier! Doors open at 5 pm.
Kick off Guster on the Ocean 2018 weekend, starting with a concert at the legendary State Theatre with show opener Caroline Rose, starting at 8 pm!
Danny & Jake, our favorite guitar and cello duo, are back at Bull Feeney’s playing all the indie covers your heart could desire starting at 9:30 pm!
Saturday
The 10th annual Picnic Craft Fair in Lincoln Park is here! Starting at 11 am, shop the best in handmade indie crafts and vintage goods including clothing, jewelry, prints, accessories, bags, plush, stationery, ceramics, housewares, vintage goods, and more from over 120 vendors!
Lucas Roy is bringing a spectacular showcase to The Thirsty Pig where he’ll be performing mostly originals and some covers and you’ll be enjoying fresh beers and delicious food starting at 4 pm!
If you want grub, ice cold bevvies, and to watch the UFC 227 fights that everyone will be talking about on Sunday, Binga’s Stadium is the place for you! Two title fights are going down and it start at 10 pm!

Combine two fun and fit activities and what do you get? Yoga at Fort Gorges! Paddle out to the fort with Portland Paddle for a 45-minute session brought to you by Cayce Anne Yoga to stretch, strengthen, and rejuvenate. The yoga class is suitable for all ages and abilities and the kayaking portion is great for all skill levels, even first-time kayakers!
Whether you’re visiting on vacation or you’ve lived here for years, it’s always good to know the history around you! Join the Maine Historical Society for a 75 minute guided tour through our city’s waterfront, highlighting Portland’s history, maritime heritage, and authentic character.
