Friday
From 3-10pm The Rink at Thompson’s Point is hosting WinterKids Family Day! To skate and rent equipment for free you must be a WinterKids member and present the app at the ticket counter. To learn more check out their Facebook page.
February’s First Friday Art Walk is from 5-8pm! This event features shows and programming all over Portland! See their website for participating venues.
Head to the Portland House of Music and Events for the Benefit for Erika of Muddy Ruckus from 7pm-1am. This event features The Mallett Brothers Band, Five of The Eyes, The Youngerbloods, Jenny Lou Drew Band, and Max Garcia Conover. Tickets are $20 and the doors open at 7pm. This is a 21+ event.
Attend the Symphony of New Works at the Studio Theater at Portland Stage. These shows are new one act plays written by women and non-binary writers! This event started on Thursday but will continue Friday and Saturday! Tickets are $15-$35.
Geno’s Rock Club presents Death Before Dishonor, Cruel Hand, and Other Special Guests from 8pm-12:30am. This show is mainly punk, metal, and hardcore. Tickets are $15. This is a 21+ event.
Grab a ticket to Gorilla Finger Dub’s Annual Bob Marley Tribute Set at Aura! Tickets are $15 and the doors open at 8pm. This is an 18+ event.
Saturday
Join the Make-A-Wish Young Leaders Council from 12:30-5pm at Thompson’s Point to Skate for Wishes! Admission is $8 for those of us who are 6 years and up and $5 for people under 5 years. Skate rentals are $3 and $2 from every admission will go to Make-A-Wish Maine!
Make Collaborative Heart Art at a special event at the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine. Work with other artists to create a mural inspired by the art of Chris Uphues. This event is free with admission and begins at 2pm.
Grab your onesies and your friends because it’s Portland’s 3rd Annual Onesie Bar Crawl! The crawl is from 5-11pm and features some of Portland’s best bars. Tickets include a t-shirt, a koozie, a wristband which will get you into the bars on the route, discount drink specials, and entrance to the after party! There will also be DJs at several bars and a professional photographer to snap a shot of you in your best onesie! This is a 21+ event.
New England Fights presents “NEF 42: Symphony of Destruction” from 6-10pm at Merrill Auditorium. Tickets run from $36-$76. This is a kid friendly event. Check out the fight card on their Facebook page.
Quiet Riot Act will be at The Porthole from 6:30-9:30pm. Listen to acoustic rock n’ roll and relax!
Catch the Saturday Night Comedy Showcase at Empire Comedy Club! Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $5 online or $10 at the door. This is a 21+ event.
The Whiskey Barrel is hosting Reggae and Afrobeats Night with DJ Onax at 9pm. Show off your moves!
Sunday
Allagash Brewery’s Valentine’s extravaganza, From Maine with Love, kicks off at 9:30am with a donation-based yoga class for all levels. Then from 12-3pm Massages by Melissa are available for $1 per minute. There will be treats, beer, coffee, and live music by Isaiah Bennett on the patio. Buy your yoga tickets today!
The Valentines Edition of the Maker’s Market will be from 10am-3:30pm at Thompson’s Point! This event features artisans, farmers, crafts, and food! The best part? It’s free!
Drag ME to Brunch with Chartreuse at Boone’s Fish House & Oyster Room from 11am-1pm! Tickets include a brunch entree and either a Bloody Mary or Mimosa. Specialty cocktails and the full restaurant menu will also be available. Tickets are $35 and brunch will take place in the upstairs Oyster Room.
Port City Music Hall and The Rock and Roll Playhouse are hosting Music of Prince for Kids from 11:30am-12:30pm. Tickets are $15 and children under 1 year are free. Introduce your little ones to classic rock and music by the most iconic musicians in history!
Make Magic Mood Mud at the Color Changing Play Dough Workshop at the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine! This event begins at 2pm and is $8. Learn about heat with this thermochromic craft!
Attend Prints and Pints: Letterpress Valentine’s Day Card Workshop at Rising Tide Brewing Company from 2-4pm, and learn to print Valentine’s cards! Make 10 cards and take them home! Creativity is highly encouraged and all materials are provided. Tickets are $25 and space is limited.
The Women’s 2nd Sunday Showcase will be at Blue from 7-9pm. This event features women singers and songwriters from all over the Northeast!
