One Team Scavenger Hunt | 10AM – 10PM July 2nd
This all-day event is a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations where you are required to answer questions or solve puzzles to receive your next instruction. All you need is your own mobile device and an Internet connection.

Maine State Pier Wine Sail | 4PM – 6PM | Must be 21 years +
Enjoy this unique wine education experience as you travel on a 74-foot sailboat throughout Maine’s Casco Bay featuring scenic views of Maine lighthouses, islands, and waterways, all the while indulging in a wine class! During the class, you’ll explore some incredibly delicious quality wines from France’s renowned Loire Valley.
The boat will depart from the Maine State Pier, located at 56 Commercial Street. Try to arrive early to be on the safe side!

Come to the Portland Lobster Co. for a two-part LIVE music special, featuring Ryan Halliburton Duo from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This act is shortly followed by Stu Mahan & Royal Hammer’s performance from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Old Port Historic Events | Back to Back Events
Taking place at Monument Square from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, experience this 90-minute workout all the while learning the rich history of Portland, Maine’s Old Port (1632 – 2021).
Shortly after, explore the Old Port’s rich history and places of interest in this 2 hour exciting walking tour and historical adventure for all members of the family. This event will take place at Monument Square from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Maine State Pier Wine Sail | 4PM – 6PM and 6:30PM – 8:30PM | Must be 21 years +
Enjoy this unique wine education experience as you travel on a 74-foot sailboat through Maine’s Casco Bay with scenic views of Maine lighthouses, islands, and waterways, all while indulging in a wine class! The 4PM wine sail will explore a selection of delicious wines from Emerging wine regions, previously unknown grape varieties, and new and re-emerging styles. While the 6:30 PM wine sail will feature quality wines from countries and wine regions around The Mediterranean.

Sunday, July 4th
Portland’s Annual 4th of July Firework Display
The fireworks display will be held on Sunday, July 4, in its usual spot on the Eastern Promenade with the fireworks set to go off around 9:15 PM.
The fireworks can be seen from other locations than the Eastern Promenade. These locations include East End Beach, Fort Allen Park, Amethyst Park, Baxter Boulevard, Payson Park, Martin’s Point on Veranda Street, and Bug Light in South Portland.
Old Port 4th of July Historic Walking Tour | 11AM – 1PM
This tour will discuss the infamous Portland fire and how it happened and how the people of Portland pulled themselves up to where they are today. You will experience over 50 of Portland’s magnificent architecture, historical landmarks, monuments while discussing how prohibition started in the Old Port, including Portland’s famous “Rum Riot,” as well as discuss so much more Old Port history from 1632 to the present!
