Friday
The 3rd Annual Oyster Fest at Rí Rá Portland is in full swing. The Oyster Fest has been a week long event this year and will run until Sunday. Stop by between 11am-4pm on Friday and grab three oysters and a Guinness for only $12 all while listening to live music! Plus, on Sunday there will be an oyster shucking competition between professional chefs from Maine’s best restaurants and Guinness will be making personalized pint glasses!
Snag a ticket to the film Anthropocene: The Human Epoch at the Portland Museum of Art from 2-3:30pm or 6-7:30pm. This film explores how humanity has re-engineered the planet and argues that the Holocene Epoch moved into the Anthropocene Epoch in the mid-twentieth century due to human influence.
Stop by Congress Square Arts between 4-6pm for Pumpkins in the Square! There will be a pumpkin carving and decorating competition, live folk music, crafts, cider, and donuts! Bring your own pumpkin or buy one there for $10.
Saturday
Join Alaina Marie & Flowfold for a Pop Up and Beer Release at Fore River from 12pm- 4pm. They will be releasing the Seacoast Trifold Wallet, designed by Alaina Marie and Flowfold, and the collaboration beer created by Fore River: Rosa Rugose.
Make ME Laugh is having it’s one year anniversary show at Empire from 8:30-11:30pm. Tickets for this live comedy game show are only $5, so grab one quick!
Fifth Maine Museum will be hosting their annual Harvest Supper from 5:30-8:30pm on Peaks Island. Learn more on their website!
Listen to some tunes at the Dogfish Bar & Grille with David & Saoirse between 8-11pm. This will be a mix of originals and covers of bands such as the Velvet Underground, the Kinks, and Bob Dylan. There’s no cover but tips are appreciated!

Need a new wardrobe? Hustle and Flow will be hosting a Clothing Swap between 11:30am-12:30pm! If you want to donate, drop your clothes off a couple days early. There will be shoes, jewelry, bags, and of course all types of clothing!

Visit Blackstone between 9:30-11:30pm for Boys Will Be Girls! This will be an amazing event full of drag and dancing! This is a 21+ event so don’t forget your ID!
