It’s the Portland Public Library’s Annual Book Sale Event from 5-8pm Friday and 9am-3pm Saturday. Now is the time to grab a great book to cozy up by the fire with this Fall!
Order some seafood and listen to Vinyl Tap at the Portland Lobster Company from 6:30-9:30pm. You can’t beat live music and good food on a Friday night!
Check out Gold Coast Label’s Neon Nights Glow Party from 9pm-1am at Empire Live Music and Events. Wear your brightest neon outfits and get ready to dance to Hip-Hop, Rnb, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Dancehall. Tickets range from $20-$100.
Saturday
Get some breakfast and listen to this TedX style talk about the importance of bees in our culture! The B Side will be from 9am-12pm at the Portland House of Music and Events and features music by Emilia Dahlin and a Q&A after the talk. Tickets are $45 dollars and breakfast is included!
Check out Tilden Katz on Portland’s Largest Waterfront Deck from 2-6pm at The Porthole Restaurant and Pub. Grab a drink, a meal, sitback, and enjoy the view!
Stick to your ticket! The Wizard’s Pub Crawl: Portland will be held this Saturday from 5-11:59pm. Tickets are $22.50 but include your very own wand and more! There will also be themed drinks at the bars. Unfortunately, Celestina Warbeck nor the Weird Sisters were available but there will be DJs throughout the crawl to keep the party going! This is a 21+ event.
Sunday
From 10am-3pm take in all that Maker’s Market at the Point has to offer. With 90+ vendors including local food, jewelry, crafts, and vintage finds this event is sure to have something for everyone!
Snag a ticket to The Art of Beermaking with Bissell Brothers & PMA Contemporaries hosted by the Portland Museum of Art and the Bissell Brothers. This event allows you to meet the artists who have created the work on the beer cans, promotional materials, and in the tasting room. This event is from 4pm-7pm and is open to PMA Contemporaries members.
Check out Brian Higginbottom feat: Ali Simpson from 8-10:30pm at Empire Live Music & Events. This Boston based comedian has performed at Crosstown Comedy Festival, finaled in the Beantown Comedy Riots, and performs at some of Boston’s best comedy clubs! Tickets are $5 and this is a 21+ event so don’t forget your ID!
