The Thirsty Pig hosts a collaborative tap takeover with beers from Orono Brewing Company and Medusa Brewing Company on the eve of the Maine Brewers Guild Summer Session. The takeover begins at 7 and the beers flow until 9. In addition to all the amazing beer, The Thirsty Pig is partnering with Beeler’s Pork to make a special sausage for this event.

Head to the State Theater and see Tegan and Sara with Japanese Breakfast. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Show starts at 8:00. This event is appropriate for all ages!

The Awesome
The Awesome brings back the 80’s at Portland House of Music from 8:00am to 1:00am. Break out the windbreakers and tease your hair as big as you can, doors open at 8:00 and the music starts at 9. Make sure to get a babysitter, this is a 21+ event. Tickets are only $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
Summer Session: Maine Brewer’s Guild
Its finally here! The Maine Brewers Guild Summer Session is slated to be the largest brewfest in Maine. Come drink some of the best beers in Maine and from away. There will be live music, beer school classes, and of course food trucks. Don’t be that guy who didn’t get a ticket and sits at home on Facebook looking at all the photos their friends are posting of the event. FOMO is real.

Brewer’s Brunch
Brunch is the cure for all hangovers. Let’s all meet at The Thirsty Pig after the brewfest for a one of a kind brunch. Food will be served from 11-3. I’ll be that guy with a bloody and one of everything on the menu.
DreamCycle-Circus Maine
Everybody likes the circus, but you are going to love DreamCycle. Come watch acrobats, jugglers and aerialists as they fuel your imagination and amaze you with jaw dropping performances. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Wilco at Thompson’s Point with Big Thief
Thompson’s Point is an excellent summer concert venue. Wilco will be performing with Big Thief from 7-9. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 day of show. This show is all ages so feel free to bring the entire family along.
