Friday March 31st– According to scientists raw oysters really are aphrodisiacs (and now is the time to eat them). This means good news for Mainers and Portland Old Porters alike. The Maine Flower Show, owned and produced by members of Maine’s horticulture industry is finally here! The Return of The Middle Men are back at Bullfeeneys. The Middle Men are A group of multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters with influences in pop, folk, reggae, and hip-hop. Get their early to crush on this trio from Maine. This is a 21+ event with No cover charge! Show Starts at 9:30p.m.
Saturday April 1st– Daddy Boot Camp begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the Mercy Hospital Foreriver location, and continues until 12:30 p.m. Learn how to become more comfortable with your new role as a dad by learning important basic skills about caring for an infant and supporting your partner. Daddy Boot Camp Class is free and class sizes are limited to provide individual attention. Sunday April 2nd– Start your Sunday morning off on the right track, and on the race to aiding the nationally accredited American Heart Association of Maine in the 2nd annual HeartStrong 10K. The Race features prizes for the top three male and top three female overall and age-group finishers. Registration and bib pickup begins at 7:30 at the Ocean Gateway Terminal located 14 Maine State Pier in Portland. Free long-sleeved tech t-shirts to the first 50 registrants! Circus Maine hosts a family fun event for all ages from 1p.m.- 2p.m. located at 4 Thompsons Pt, Portland, Maine 04102. The Indoor Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Activities is open to the Public and will be put on by Macaroni Kid. Join them as they entertain the Macaroni Kid Easter egg hunt, some Easter activities and a special guest! Tickets are only $5/child, and available at the door from 1-1:15pm before the hunt begins at 1:15. The event itself goes from 1:15-2:00pm. Stay afterwards for Open Gym at Circus Maine from 2-4pm (extra charge applies). RSVP ahead of time to [email protected] is recommended, but not necessary.
