Friday
The annual Ice Bar & Party at the Portland Hotel is back! Saturday’s session is already sold out, so purchase tickets soon if you’d like to get your weekend started (promptly at 5 pm) with multiple ice bars, signature cocktails, DJ, light snacks, and a good time in chilly temps!
Wind down from a long week at work with the Bruce Couillard Jazz Trio and a few signature cocktails at Maine Craft Distilling! The music starts at 6, the cocktails start flowing as soon as you arrive.
The Portland Comedy Co-Op is returning to Rising Tide for the Winter 2018 Comedy Brew Ha Ha at 8 pm! The best part is, $10 gets you in AND your first pour. What could be better than a few brews and belly laughs?
If you’re looking for a musical night, head over to Portland House of Music & Events where two New England bands, Strange Machines, and Harsh Armadillo, are colliding to make rock/reggae/funk/jazz/hip-hop/dance/etc. magic! The show begins at 8, tickets are just $15.
Saturday
The Portland Farmers’ Market is back at a new location! Shop from over 20 different local fruit, veggie, meat, honey, and lots of other amazing Maine farmers from 9 am to 1 pm!
Meet Maine’s wilder side! The Wild Beer Roundup is back at Allagash from 8 am until 5 pm. They’re pulling from a deep stash to give Allagash fans a chance to grab some special bottles (on sale starting at 9), bring the whole family for fun and games!
It’s brunch time at the Thirsty Pig, Saturday from 11 am until 2 pm! Warning: once you read the brunch menu for this week, it will be physically impossible to resist attending… Proceed with caution (*cough*breakfast mac & cheese and a housemade pop tart).
Keep it upbeat at Salvage BBQ & Smokehouse as Raging Brass plays their first show of the year. Feast on ribs and mac & cheese and feast your ears on their brass-roots flavored musical stylings (maybe even break out a few of your dance moves)! The music begins at 8 and this show is free and for all ages!
Sunday
Catch the Maine Red Claws basketball game at 1 pm as they take on the Long Island Nets and while you’re at it, enter to win a chance to do an on-court shootout to win season tickets for the 2018/19 season!
