Friday, September 16th– TGIF! Start your weekend off with a good cold craft beer. The Thirsty Pig will be hosting a Belgian Beer Fest Night with Allagash Brewing Company and Ommegang. There will also be a special food menu for this one of a kind night. Another pre Belgian Fest party will be at Novare Res Bier Cafe. Allagash and Foundation will be bringing in their own inspired Belgian beers and some rare kegs to share before the fest. Want to go to concert? Old Crow Medicine will be playing at the State Theater starting at 8PM. They have played with some of the biggest artists today including Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Willie Nelson. Their most famous song is “Wagon Wheel” which received the RIAA’s Platinum Certification in 2013 for selling over 1 million copies. With tickets only being $40 you definitely don’t want to miss out. Have you heard of Wessie the snake in Westbrook? Mast Landing Brewing Company will be releasing their 2nd batch of Wessie West Coast IPA from 12-8!
Saturday, September 17th– It’s the Belgian Beer Fest! It’s a one day event that revolves around Belgian Beer. There will be hundreds of authentic Belgian beers and Belgian-inspired offerings. This event is to raise awareness for Belgians contributions to craft beer. Another event happening in the Old Port is the 2nd Annual Queen Tribute Night. Master Stroke will be performing Queens greatest hits starting at 8PM!
Sunday, September 18th– Happy Sunday funday! Get your Sunday started with some brunch to cure that hangover. Little Tap House will be continuing the theme by serving up a Belgian style brunch. You can also mingle with the Beer Advocate and Allagash Brewing Company while sipping on some craft beer from 11-3. Another event is the Make America Rock Again tour which will feature our generations hard rock chart-toppers including Trapt, Saliva, Saving Abel, Alien Ant Farm, Crazytown, 12 Stones and Tantric, and many more! This is the biggest hard rock party of the summer so get your ticket!
